Three New DOT Numbers Awarded for Automotive Glass

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently awarded three new DOT numbers for automotive glass, one to a company in China, another to a Pennsylvania company, and another to a Russian plant.

DOT number 1032 was awarded to Ibis Tek LLC in Saxonburg, Pa. According to the company’s website, it specializes in “the development of transparent armor and accessory products for tactical and combat vehicles.”

BSG Auto Glass Co. Ltd. in Dafeng City, Jiangsu, China, has received DOT number 1033. The company has a 35,000-square-meter factory and produces approximately one million windshields per year, according to its website.

DOT number 1034 went to Fuyao Glass Russia Co. Ltd. in Kalugla City, Russia. China-based Fuyao launched the Russian plant last year, according to local reports.
