DOT Issues Nine New Numbers to Glass Companies

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently awarded nine new DOT numbers to automotive glass companies.

DOT No. 1062 was awarded to Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions LLC in Grenada, Miss. Trulite offers a complete line of architectural aluminum products, fabricated glass, all-glass entrances, decorative glass and mirrors, according to the company’s website.

DOT No. 1063 went to Wuhan SYP Kangqiao Autoglass Co. Ltd. of Wuhan, Hubei, China. The company specializes in the research and development, manufacture and sales of OEM automotive glass and glass assemblies, according to its website.

Changzhou Bomei Glass Co. Ltd. of Changzhou City, Jiangsu, China, received DOT No. 1064.

DOT No. 1065 was awarded to Yizheng Yaopi Autoglass Co. Ltd. of Yizheng, Jiangsu, China. Yizheng Yaopi Autoglass is affiliated with Shanghai Building Materials Group, according to the company’s website, and built a new production facility in 2011.

Taizhou Huangyan Shentuo Vehicle Co. Ltd. of Taizhou, Zhejiang, China, received DOT No. 1066. The company has manufactured windscreens for motorcycles and scooters since 1999, according to its website.

DOT No. 1067 went to HPD Contratistas Generales Sac in Canete, Lima, Peru.

DOT No. 1068 was awarded to Incovisa Comercio Importaçäo e Exportaçäo Ltda in Bairro Aririu, Palhoca-SC, Brazil.

Xinyi Glass Sichuan Co. Ltd. of Deyang, Sichuan, China, received DOT No. 1069.

DOT No. 1070 went to A-2 Solar Advanced and Automotive of Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany. The company has been “working with advanced and automotive solar systems” for more than 25 years, according to its website.
