The Boyd Group, parent company to Gerber Collision & Glass and Glass America, has purchased a multi-store operation in Ohio and Kentucky consisting of ten collision repair centers. The locations are based in the Cincinnati region.
They were founded in 1990 and previously operated as Collision Care Centers. They will now operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass name.
“We are very excited to add these new locations, which have served the Cincinnati market area well for over 25 years,” says Tim O’Day, president and chief operating officer of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations.
“These repair centers are important additions to our portfolio which complement our recently added locations in Dayton, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Indiana, to create an expanded footprint in the Midwest. As well, with this acquisition, Gerber has established a presence in Kentucky, its 20th state,” adds O’Day.
