PGW Auto Glass Acquires Sigma Distributing

PGW Auto Glass, an LKQ company, has acquired Sigma Distributing Companies, an independent wholesaler that provides auto glass, exhaust and automotive supplies, effective October 16.

Sigma Distributing was founded in Wichita, Kan., in 1984, and his since expanded throughout the Midwest with six depot locations. The company delivers its products to customers in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.

In a letter to the company’s customers, Sigma Distributing said the acquisition was made to further grow and better serve the market.

“I, along with the Sigma and PGW Auto Glass teams, will work together to make this a seamless transition. PGW Auto Glass strives to offer the same level of quality, service and partnerships that each of you has experienced these past 30 years,” the letter read.

PGW Auto Glass has more than 100 distribution branches throughout the U.S. and Canada, according to the company’s website.
