WIN WIN FOR SOMEBODY ……. Not the installer.

  2. Brick and mortar shops get hosed!
The insured still pays a deductible with no discounts, while the insurance company gets paid from both ends…

The next time you take an insurer to court, point out to the judge that windshield repairs (which are strictly labor charges) net $75 for an average time of 1/2 hour, while the labor for replacements which are much more labor intensive and usually take longer only net $38/labor hour and then ask how that is fair.
