The Boyd Group Acquires 11 Locations

The Boyd Group Inc. (the Boyd Group) recently announced it acquired 11 locations within three different areas around the globe. According to the company, the newest locations are located in California, British Columbia and Michigan.


The Boyd Group entered California via two acquisitions representing nine locations in the suburban Los Angeles area. Six of the shops, including one intake center, are located in Corona, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Murrieta and Palm Desert and previously operated as International Auto Crafters. The locations in Newhall, Santa Clarita and Valencia operated as Centre Pointe Collision.

“We are excited to enter a new state and expand our footprint on the West Coast, reinforcing our brand and providing the high-quality service customers in this region have come to expect,” said Kevin Burnett, Gerber Collision & Glass chief operating officer.

British Columbia

The company acquired a collision repair center in Parksville, British Columbia. The location previously operated as Crashpad Collision.

“We are excited to add this location that has served the area so well,” said Tony Canade, Boyd Group chief operating officer, Canadian operations.


The company also acquired a collision repair center in Utica, Mich. The location previously operated as Macomb Collision Tire & Service, operating under the same ownership for 44 years.

“The acquisition of this repair center strengthens our brand in this area of the country, giving us the ability to provide high-quality service to customers and insurance partners in this region,” said Burnett.
