Pilkington NSG to Initiate $15 Transport Service Cost

Pilkington NSG is telling its wholesale customers that a new transport service cost will be initiated effective on or after Tuesday, October 25 with respect to shipments from Columbus and Phoenix distribution centers.

Pilkington NSG began contacting its customers last week to inform them that it will initiate a $15 transport service charge with respect to shipments from distribution centers in Columbus and Phoenix.

According to the company, the charge comes with the “steadily” increasing cost of delivering OE-quality automotive products and services.

“We have implemented significant cost reduction measures, but these initiatives have not been enough to offset the costs,” the company told customers.
