Safelite Group Acquires Premium Auto Glass

Safelite Group has acquired the assets of Premium Auto Glass, headquartered in Denver. The deal closed Friday, Dec. 9. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Safelite AutoGlass of Columbus, Ohio, is the largest auto glass repair and replacement business in the U.S.

“We’re pleased to welcome the Premium Auto Glass team to Safelite,” says Renee Cacchillo, Safelite’s president and CEO. “This acquisition is a terrific addition to our business bringing together two companies with similar values that focus on providing great, high-quality customer service.”

Premium Auto Glass is a 13-year-old auto glass repair and replacement company with five locations in Colorado including Arvada, Centennial, Colorada Springs, Littleton, and Longmont. It also services Pueblo. Rob Schenfeld, Rob Knight, Doug Sydow and Ken Potts are all listed as owners on the company’s website.

Safelite AutoGlass of Columbus, Ohio, is the largest auto glass repair and replacement business in the U.S. In addition to the most recent acquisition, Safelite acquired Reliable Glass Division, Genuine Auto Glass and Binswanger Auto Glass Division in October 2022, Pro Tech Auto Glass at the end of August 2022, Henderson Glass in July 2022 and Frontier Glass in June 2022.
