AGRR Sister Publications Named Finalists for Prestigious Awards

Several AGRR magazine/glassBYTEs.com sister publications were named finalists in two major editorial competitions, including the 69th Jesse H. Neal awards, considered the “Pulitzer Prize of B2B journalism.” The Neals are presented by the Software & Information Industry Association.

The December 2022 issue of USGlass is a Neals finalist in the Best Subject Related Package category for its Women in the Industry special section. Ellen Rogers, editorial and content director, led the planning, concept and direction of this special edition. Rogers was previously a finalist in 2019 and 2020 and the winner for Best Technical/Scientific Content in 2022.

The Women in the Industry issue is also a national and regional finalist in the American Society of Business Publication Editors’ Azbee Awards in the Single Topic Coverage by a Team category.

Drew Vass, executive editor of [DWM] magazine, an AGRR sister publication, is also a Neals finalist for his coverage of Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in his article “Women in Fenestration.”  Vass was previously a finalist in 2019.

In addition, USGlass art director/managing editor Dawn Campbell is a national and regional Azbee finalist in the front cover, photo, design category. Art director Saundra Hutchison is also a regional finalist in the Opening Page/Spread – Illustration category, as well as a regional finalist in the Opening Page/Spread category for her work in [DWM] magazine.

The Neal winners will be announced during an in-person ceremony to be held in New York City on April 21. The ASBPE awards will be announced in Atlanta on May 12.
