The Repair of Laminated Automotive Glass Standard (ROLAGS) 002, courtesy of the Auto Glass Safety Council’s (AGSC) National Windshield Repair Division (NWRD) and its ROLAGS Committee, is now available for purchase on the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) website.
The Standard describes proper procedures for auto glass repair, with areas of interest including automotive glass repair technicians, windshield repair companies, windshield repair franchisors, windshield repair suppliers, manufacturers, insurance companies and more.
The second generation of the Standard, referred to as a repair-industry roadmap by members of the NWRD executive committee, incorporates new language addressing repairs in vehicles that have Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
