Toppan in Japan developed LC MAGIC, a light control film that changes from transparent to opaque at the flick of a switch, in 2016 and has now announced that it combined LC MAGIC with glass from AGC for Toyota’s Century model luxury car. The company says LC film provides a haze of 3% when transparent and 99% when opaque.
