Glass Logic Acquires GlassComp

Having the desire to add more “glass” to its inventory, Glass Logic, a point-of-sale software provider based in Central Illinois, recently acquired the assets of Illinois-based GlassComp, a long-term EDI provider for the auto glass retail industry.

The move allows Glass Logic to gain more market share in transaction-based claims (manual/electronic) processing and expand its customer base.

“The acquisition of a legacy auto glass claims processing company allows us to expand our industry footprint and arsenal of tools used to service the auto glass retail industry,” says Jon Stephens, Glass Logic president and CEO. “This really is a perfect fit, and we are looking forward to leveraging our combined resources and technology to revolutionize the EDI process along with enhancing our suite of products.”

GlassComp was founded in 1992, and Glass Logic in 2003.
