Cary Group Has Purchased one of the UK’s Biggest Auto Glass Providers

Stockholm-based Cary Group, a provider of repair and replacement vehicle glass in Europe, signed an agreement to acquire 100% of J Huggins and Son Limited, one of the UK’s primary auto glass repair and replacement providers.

Both companies are part of the same National Windscreens consortium in the UK. With the acquisition, Cary Group and its holdings now generate about 95% of the consortium’s revenue. The acquisition should be final in February 2024.

“The acquisition of J Huggins and Son is an important part of our strategy to further strengthen and consolidate our market position in the United Kingdom,” Cary Group CEO Anders Jensen says. “The company has a well-run business, and we look forward to them joining Cary Group.”

Family-owned since its founding in 1971, J Huggins and Son employees about 120 people and owns 17 shops for auto glass repair and replacement as well as wholesale.
