New Year Brings New Start for Auto Glass Industry Veteran

The Japanese term Kaizen means change for the better or continuous improvement, and the start of a new year provides the perfect time to launch a business dedicated to that core concept.

Shauna Davis, Kaizen Glass Solutions.

Shauna Davis formed Kaizen Glass Solutions to provide auto glass training programs and tools for industry professionals. The training programs are based on the Kaizen philosophy.

Davis says experienced professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the industry teach the courses, which include auto glass removal and replacement, windshield repair, ADAS calibration, sales/ISR, flat glass, and tinting.

“We’re the experts,” Davis says. “We’ve been in the industry for 25-plus years.”

Davis’ auto glass industry experience includes 21 years of selling tools. She moved from the receptionist desk at a major auto glass supplier to the marketing department, becoming department manager. She rose to become the company’s global sales director.

“I just loved all of the people I’ve met along the way,” Davis says. “I’ve maintained those relationships that became friendships all this time. It’s nice to have that professional community.”

Kaizen’s training programs include auto glass removal and replacement, windshield repair, ADAS/calibration, sales/ISR, flat glass, and tinting classes. Davis offers training in various formats, including online courses, onsite workshops, and in-person training sessions.

“Our classes will focus on small groups because we want to provide that one-on-one experience,” Davis says. “Most of them will have about 10 students in each class.”
The first classes begin in February.
