Zeiss Smart Glass Tech Could Place Transparent Camera Mid-Window

German optics firm Zeiss plans to show off its Multifunctional Smart Glass technology at the Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas.

The company’s technology can float “holographic” and augmented-reality content on a transparent surface for car head-up displays, 3D control elements in smart homes, and even a transparent video cam in the middle of a glass panel.
