Auto Glass Shop Owner Calls for Road Safety Improvements

Vanjey Rodriguez, owner of Yazmin Auto Glass shop in Dallas, Texas, says he witnesses auto crashes time and time again.

The latest occurred on February 5 when police say 45-year-old Moises Sanchez died after he lost control of his vehicle and fell off the bridge 17 feet to the road below.

Rodriguez and Ricardo Gonzalez, a manager at the auto glass shop, say the stretch of road is a problem for crashes. Another car took a dive off the same overpass on December 8. That driver also died.

“It’s just crazy to see,” Gonzalez says.

Rodriguez wants additional safety measures, like adding a 3-foot fence to the roadway.
