AGRR and Sister Publications Take Home Five Azbee Awards

The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) presented its Mid-Atlantic Azbee awards last week in Washington, D.C., where AGRR magazine and two of its sister publications took home a combined five awards.

Art director Saundra Hutchison netted an award in the category Design – Front Cover – Photo Illustration for AGRR magazine, earning a Bronze award for her work on the magazine’s July-August cover.

In the All Content – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion category, AGRR’s sister publication [DWM] took home a Bronze award for the article “DEI + Belonging,” by executive editor Drew Vass.

Under the Design – Front Cover – Photo Illustration category, [DWM] received a Silver award for the March-April 2023 edition. The cover was designed by Hutchison and conceptualized by Vass.

Joshua Huff, senior editor for AGRR sister publication USGlass magazine, received a Silver award in the Online Industry News Coverage category for his article “Can Glass Prevent School Shootings?” and Ellen Rogers, vice president of editorial content, earned a Bronze award in Print – Feature Article, 11 or Fewer Issues per Year, for “Building a Mystery: Defining Details of the Perelman Performing Arts Center,” in the October 2023 edition of USGlass magazine. Rogers has also been named a finalist in the annual Jesse H. Neal Awards competition for editorial excellence for the same article.
