Volvo Cars Canada Partners with Advanced Glazings Ltd.

Volvo Cars Canada has announced a partnership with Solera® glass. The company’s glass will be used to glaze Volvo’s facilities.

The Solera glass line belongs to Advanced Glazings Ltd., and is designed to provide light diffusion and an insulation value up to R25. The light diffusion means facilities can often rely on natural lighting rather than electricity, and the insulation quality means less energy is spent on heating or cooling the building.

“We are excited to embark on this journey with Advanced Glazings,” says Julian Pastore, Retail Experience and Sustainability manager at Volvo Cars Canada. “By incorporating Solera glass into our facilities, we are not only enhancing the visual appeal of our spaces but also reducing our carbon footprint and advancing our sustainability goals.”

Volvo facilities in the Canadian cities Richmond, Brossard, Laval and Halifax currently contain Solera glass. Plans are underway to install the glass in other facilities.
