President of Major Auto Glass Brand Resigns

The president of Auto Glass Now (AGN) has resigned, sparking a shakeup in the company’s leadership. Nick Ouimet’s last day with the Charlotte, North Carolina-based auto glass brand was Friday, May 17. He had been with AGN (owned by Driven Brands) for more than a year.

Michael Macaluso will assume Ouimet’s responsibilities. Macaluso is the executive vice president of paint, collision and glass for Driven Brands. He joined Driven Brands in 2015 when it acquired the auto body repair brand CARSTAR, where he had been employed since 2008. He’s held several executive-level positions during his time at Driven Brands.

Jesus Laborit, Driven Brands’ vice president of operational excellence, is now AGN’s chief operating officer. He also assumes part of Ouimet’s role. Laborit began working for Driven Brands after it acquired Canadian company Pro Oil Change in 2016 and worked his way up to various executive roles within Driven Brands.

glassBYTEs/AGRR magazine will speak with Macaluso about his new role with AGN soon.
