A glass company is closing its Pennsylvania manufacturing plant, affecting 105 workers.
Ohio-based Custom Glass Solutions will close its plant in Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania, in April, according to a recent WARN notice.
Custom Glass Solutions’ website says it offers OE glass manufacturing, service parts and distribution for law enforcement vehicles, public and commercial transportation, emergency vehicles, construction and agriculture vehicles and recreational vehicles. Its customized glass options for those sectors include armored glass.
According to a local news publication, BucksCo Today, Custom Glass Solutions’ customers include Ford, John Deere, Volvo, Caterpillar and Winnebago. The company has over 320 customers total.
A spokesperson told BucksCo Today that Custom Glass Solutions is consolidating facilities “to gain a more efficient company footprint that enables our broader investment and growth strategies.”
