A United Kingdom-based company has opened three new service centers and expanded several others during the first quarter of 2025.
Auto Windscreens officials say the company opened shops in Burton-on-Trent, Salisbury and Caernarfon. According to officials, these new shops have cut drive times in half for customers in rural areas.
Auto Windscreens’ growth plan includes opening five more stores in 2025.
The company also relocated three shops to bigger facilities in Harlow, Birmingham and Carlisle to give them space for more recalibrations. Officials say the Birmingham and Carlisle locations now perform recalibrations for about 40-50% of their windshield replacement jobs.
“We’ve targeted these locations due to the sheer volume of work we were seeing there,” says Auto Windscreens operations director Sean Draycott. “The new sites have already enabled us to undertake a higher-than-average number of calibrations overall in these areas and have reduced the distance customers need to travel for their booking.
Draycott says Auto Windscreens plans to open five more sites as part of its continued growth strategy.
