Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) will introduce its two newest certifications at Auto Glass Week™ (AGW) 2025. This means AGW attendees can earn up to eight certifications during their September 9-11 stay in Reno, Nevada.
These new certifications will be available starting in September:
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) certification for auto glass technicians; and
- Customer service representative (CSR) certification.
The program for ADAS, as it relates to auto glass, will provide technicians with basic knowledge of how ADAS works and how and when to properly calibrate. The CSR certification program will verify the basic skills required to provide customer service in an auto glass shop. Certified CSRs will have a working knowledge of the industry, empathy and diplomacy in dealing with disgruntled customers. They’ll also learn how to incorporate a company’s AGSC membership into their dialogue.
AGSC will offer certifications for replacement technicians and repair technicians at AGW in the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Adhesive manufacturers Dinol U.S. Inc., DuPont, SIKA, and SRP Products will also offer certifications at AGW, bringing the total number of certifications to eight.
