Ford voluntarily recalled about 21,765 vehicles after discovering their headlights might fail.
According to the automaker’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) report, the LED driver modules on certain 2025 Lincoln Nautilus, Mustang Mach E and Mustang vehicles could contain a burnt diode. That defect may cause the low-beam and high-beam headlights, daytime running lights, front position lights and front turn signals to fail.
Ford’s report says dealers will inspect and replace the affected headlights for free as needed, and the company plans to mail owner notification letters on August 25.
