The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) is pleased to welcome its newest board member: Patricia Smiley, president of Columbia, South Carolina-based Quackt Glass.
Patricia Smiley is the Auto Glass Safety Council’s newest board member. She is the president of Quackt Glass in Columbia, South Carolina.
Smiley draws a wealth of auto glass knowledge, including a passion for small business management, from 25 years of experience in the industry. She began her career as a customer service representative at Glasspro in North Charleston, South Carolina. While there, she also worked in the billing department. She held various leadership positions, including training and quality manager, before transitioning to Quackt Glass, where she has spent the past five years as president. Smiley helped re-launch and rebrand the shop after her arrival.
Smiley also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University.
“I want to use my years of experience in auto glass customer service, sales and marketing to be a helpful source of information for the industry,” Smiley says. “I try to bring value to everyone I touch, and I believe serving on the AGSC board will help me do that.”
Smiley looks forward to advocating for small auto glass companies as they face the pressures of the industry. She believes emphasizing safety is one of the best ways to do that, saying, “AGSC puts safety at the forefront, and that is particularly important in the industry climate today.”

In addition to her new role as a board member, Smiley currently serves on multiple AGSC committees and chairs the Marketing Committee.
