Guy Selinske has been named the new executive director of the Minnesota Glass Association (MGA). Selinske brings more than five decades of experience in the glass and glazing industry to the role. In his new position, Selinske oversees MGA’s daily operations, legislative lobbying efforts in St. Paul and the expansion of member benefits, including specialized safety training and networking events.

Selinske is the founder of American Glass & Mirror in Prior Lake, Minnesota, which he has operated alongside his wife, Mary, since 1984. MGA officials say that due to that experience, Selinske offers an owner-operator’s perspective and a deep technical understanding of the auto and flat glass sectors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Guy as our executive director,” said Jessica Hanson, MGA president. “His lifelong commitment to this trade and his previous leadership at the state and national levels make him the ideal person to strengthen our association. Guy understands the challenges our members face, from workforce development to legislative shifts, and he has the vision to lead us through them.”
Selinske previously served on the MGA board of directors for five years and held the position of MGA president in 1999.
