Auto Windscreens Apprenticeship Program Grows

The United Kingdom-based Auto Windscreens has seen an 8% increase in applications for its contact center and automotive glazing technician apprenticeships so far this year, compared with the total for 2025.

Auto Windscreens has now received 1,084 applications. Contact center applications more than tripled between 2023 and 2026.

These figures are consistent with U.K. government data, which showed that the number of apprentices in England increased by 4.6% between August 2025 and April 2026.

“Apprenticeships have always been crucial to our whole business, from our contact center to our network of service centers, and are a great way to introduce new talent, ideas and support our existing workforce,” says Sean Draycott, operations director at Auto Windscreens. “It’s encouraging to see the number of applicants increase this year, as more people are seeing a vocational alternative to higher education or are looking for a change in their career … We look forward to welcoming our newest recruits soon.”
