Caliber Expands into New England Through Multi-Location Acquisition

The Caliber family of automotive repair and service brands, including Caliber Collision, Caliber Auto Glass and Caliber Fleet Solutions, announced its expansion into New England. The acquisition of Key Collision marks Caliber’s entry into Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

The company now operates Key Collision’s 10 locations and is now present in 44 states.

While Key Collision does not currently offer auto glass services, Caliber officials say they will “in the near future.”

“This expansion gives drivers throughout New England access to the repair experience Caliber is known for,” says Val Fichera, senior vice president of operations for the Northeast at Caliber. “We are excited to welcome the talented teammates of Key Collision, as their longstanding commitment to quality repairs and customer service makes them a natural fit with the Caliber family.”

Founded in 1992, Key Collision operates repair centers in Portland, Maine, Concord, Keene, Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth, Rochester and Salem, New Hampshire and Colchester and South Burlington, Vermont.

“Joining the Caliber family is an exciting next chapter for Key Collision and our team,” says John Stolz, former chief operating officer of Key Collision. “Caliber shares the commitment to quality and customer care that has guided our business for more than 30 years, while bringing additional resources, technology and opportunities for our teammates. We are proud of what we have built in New England and look forward to continuing that legacy as part of Caliber.”

Focus Advisors represented Key Collision in the transaction.
