ASA Names New Manager of Web Operations

The Bedford, Texas-based Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced the promotion of Colby Horton to manager of web operations. Horton joined ASA's communications department in 2000. He holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of North Texas, and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington.

As manager of web operations, Horton will develop and implement various web initiatives, manage the association's four web sites and several other ASA affiliate web sites and develop an overall web strategy for the association.

"Today, ASA's commitment to electronic communication is stronger than ever," said Ron Pyle, president of the ASA. "The association's web presence will continue to grow and provide our members, automotive service professionals and consumers with the much-needed information they seek online. We are confident that Colby can help shape the future of ASA's Internet communication strategy."
