Texas Chapter Becomes New ASA Affiliate

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced that its board of directors has approved an affiliation agreement naming ASA-Texas as its 15th affiliate.

"The ASA members in Texas are a dynamic group of professionals and we couldn't be more pleased to welcome them as or newest affiliate," said ASA chairman Kevin Caldwell.

Terry St. Pierre, owner of The Muffler Shoppe in Abilene, Texas, and president of ASA-Texas, said he is excited about the future of ASA-Texas and the direction it's headed.

"At the start of the affiliation process, my initial thoughts were that-as a statewide organization-we needed ASA to survive these tough times," St. Pierre said. "After seeing the strength of our state membership, the eagerness of members to get involved and voice concerns, and realize our strengths, I now believe ASA and ASA-Texas need each other."
