Auto Glass Week Attendees, Don't Forget Your Ballots

With Auto Glass Week in Las Vegas quickly approaching, attendees will need to remember more than just the usual packing list. With the week's events beginning on November 5, many will be traveling on an important date-November 4, when our nation's voters will elect not only a new president and vice president, but thousands of state and local leaders.

Registered voters planning to travel that day (who do not live in the Las Vegas area) will need to request absentee ballots or vote in person during alternate times, depending on individual state requirements and options.

While processes vary, information generally required includes: name, address as registered, ward and precinct (if you know them), address where you want the absentee ballot to be sent, in a primary, the party ballot you want, and a signature.

Application forms are available through local election offices or, in many cases, can be downloaded via the internet, then completed and mailed in. Deadlines for application are listed below. Contact your local or state government to verify and request specific instructions.
