Belron US Promotes Douglas to CIO

Craig Douglas has been promoted to vice president, chief information officer (CIO) for Belron US.

In his new role as CIO, Douglas will be responsible for all information technology services and initiatives for Belron US. These areas include application development, computing infrastructure, telecommunications and network communications to enable Belron employees to meet the needs of consumers and insurance carriers in scheduling.

"Craig possesses a rich experience base regarding our business and a detailed knowledge of our systems architecture, business applications and computer hardware," says Doug Herron, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Belron US.

Douglas began working for the company in 1989 as a systems programming manager and most recently served as vice president of claims technology for Belron US. Douglas' promotion comes following the retirement of Earl King, vice president of information technology.

Douglas has a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Ohio State University.
