Hare's Comments Expanded, Clarified

In last week's news item on the implications of the Belron-Safelite acquisition on the insurance industry, the subject of anti-trust was mentioned by Hal Hare, corporate claims manager for State Auto, a regional insurer based in Columbus, Ohio. While the quote ("Anti-trust could raise its head at some point.") made the point, Hare points out that it was only part of what he had to say on the subject. The second part of his thought was: It cannot really be an issue since all the major players are still in marketplace. Safelite still has plenty of competition.
