Bruner Announces Retirement from PPG

Barry Bruner, account executive at PPG Automotive Replacement Glass (ARG), has announced he will retire September 1, 2006, after 44 years with PPG Industries.

Barry joined PPG in 1962 as a sales trainee in Akron, Ohio. He quickly progressed to branch and later distribution center manager for the ARG business. In 1976, Barry was promoted to zone program manager and later held positions of greater responsibility within ARG including area representative, zone manager sales and marketing ARG, manager of direct account sales and marketing, director of sales and most recently account executive.

"Throughout his career, Barry has always represented both the interests of PPG and his customers," noted Gary Eilers, director sales/marketing for PPG ARG. "His vast knowledge of the industry coupled with the relationships with his customers have served PPG well. We wish him the very best in his well earned retirement."
