Columbus, Ohio-based Belron US will host automotive glass technicians
from Auto Glass Specialists, Elite Auto Glass and Safelite AutoGlass
competing on January 26 at the company's retail location, 760 Dearborn
Park Lane, Worthington, Ohio. The winners of the competition will

Best of Belron is an auto glass installation competition created
in 2000 by Belron S.A., the parent company of Belron US.
Twelve competitors from Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut,

Virginia will be participating in the Best of Belron national event
after they finished first and second at their respective regional
competitions held during the fall. They received $500 cash prizes
and a trip to the competition in Columbus.
Each regional competition was comprised of six automotive glass
technicians selected in September through a stringent application
process. They will compete simultaneously to install windshields,
fix shattered door glass and repair windshield chips.
"This competition was created to emphasize specific installation
practices and to celebrate the work of our technicians, who are
our direct link with the customer," says Dan Wilson, president and
chief executive officer of Belron US. "This competition showcases
the tremendous skills of our technicians and this year helps further
integrate our U.S. associates into Belron's world-wide operations."
