Dee's Windshield Repair Partners with Windshield Replacement Company

Dee Berge-Morse, owner of Dee's Windshield Repair Inc. and a member of the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) board of directors, has formed a partnership arrangement with New View Auto Glass, a replacement-only company she has shared a working relationship with over the past five years.

Timothy Kludt is the owner of New View Auto Glass.

"We have been passing jobs back and forth for years and when I found that I had to move because Harley-Davis was taking over all the space in the building where we had been located, Tim suggested to me that we join forces," said Berge-Morse. "It seemed to me that we would make a good match," she added.

The two companies have opened a joint location in Midway City, Calif., from which they do business, but they retain their separate corporate identities and staff. "Dee's Windshield Repair is not changing its ethics," she explained. "We are still repair only, but now we can service customers better for both our repair and New View's replacement capabilities. Each of us offers a complementary service."

New View's primary business is mobile, while Dee's does repair in-shop. "They are out in the vans replacing the glass and we are here in the shop doing the repair," she explained. "We've merged our businesses to share expenses and to offer customers either service that they need."

Previously, New View Auto Glass had been located in Stanton. The new location in Midway City is about two miles from Dee's old location, and Berge-Morse does not think it will be a problem for her customers to find the new location.

Dee's made the move last Monday, March 6. Berge-Morse said that the company had been open every day, although they were partially down just before it took place and they were taking walk-in customers only during the period. Long-time Dee's Windshield Repair employee Gaspar (J.R). Sanchez, who has worked for Dee's for 11 years, has also made the move to the new location. The new phone number is 714/890-1347.

Berge-Morse stated that she feels very comfortable combining with Kludt's replacement service. "They do good work. They offer a lifetime warranty against leakage," he pointed out.
