Hearing Set, News Continues
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware has set a hearing for April
24 to review the case of Diamond Glass, which filed a petition for
reorganization under Chapter 11 on April 1. The order was issued
by U.S. Bankruptcy judge Christopher S. Sontchi on Friday, April
4. The court currently is in the process of notifying Diamond's
thirty largest unsecured creditors (CLICK
HERE for related story), the company's debtor-in-possession
agent, Guggenheim Corporate Funding LLC, the "non-debtor parties
to the leases" and "all parties that have requested notice pursuant
to Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 2002.
The hearing will be held at 2 p.m. on April 24 in Wilmington, Del.
As the court reviews the case, the news of the company's filing
for bankruptcy has continued to flood news outlets across the United
States.
