Court Extends Diamond's Time to File Chapter 11 Plan

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware issued an order this week extending the period of time for Diamond Glass (now known as DG Liquidation Corp.) to file its Chapter 11 plan and to solicit acceptances of the plan.

According to court documents, Judge Christopher Sontchi, who's been overseeing the case, ruled that this extension "is in the best interests of the Debtors and their respective estates and creditors."

With this order, Diamond now has through November 28 to file its Chapter 11 plan, and it's "Exclusive Solicitation Period" (for acceptance of the plan) continues through January 27, 2009.
