SGC
Issues New Discounts for Nationwide and Farm Bureau Participants
The Columbus, Ohio-based SGC Network has issued a number of faxes
this week regarding upcoming new discounts on windshields and tempered
parts through its work as third-party administrator for several
insurance companies. Among these are new discounts from Nationwide
Insurance and its subsidiaries, including Allied Insurance, Titan
Insurance and Victoria Insurance, and the Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance
Co. of Idaho and Western Community Insurance Co.
glassBYTEs.com/AGRR magazine was able to obtain a
copy of the notices issued to a shop in the Southwestern United
States. However, it was not able to confirm if the discounts are
the same throughout the United States or if these vary. The SGC
Network, which is owned by Belron US (formerly Safelite Glass Corp.),
could not be reached for comment.
The new Nationwide pricing will go into effect next Thursday, September
13, and reads as follows:
- NAGS Windshield 41.0 percent (off NAGS List Price)
- NAGS Tempered 41.0 percent (off NAGS List Price)

The company notes it now will pay a flat fee of $63.50 per windshield
