Ebeid Receives Honorary Doctorate

Kettering University in Flint, Mich., presented philanthropist and business leader Russell J. Ebeid '62 with an honorary doctor of management degree on Thursday, July 10, during a Convocation ceremony welcoming 259 freshmen.

The son of Lebanese immigrants, Ebeid graduated from Kettering/GMI in 1962 and rose from his working-class roots to become one of four directors of Guardian Industries and the president of the Guardian Glass Group.
