Attend GEMS™ 2004 and Tour F. Barkow

Attendees of the upcoming Glass Expo Midwest (GEMS) will not only be able to see the latest offerings from exhibitors and take part in educational programming, but can also take a tour of Milwaukee-based F. Barkow, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. GEMS is scheduled to take place October 14-15 at the Four Points by Sheraton Milwaukee Airport in Milwaukee.

The F. Barkow tour will take place on Friday, October 15, and will be conducted by company president John Weise. Attendees will meet at the show registration area at 7:50 a.m. and will be escorted by a guide to vans. Refreshments will be provided after the tour, and attendees will return to the expo by 10 a.m. Those taking part in the tour will be given a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of three prizes:

  • Grand prize: Barkow Model 609 H-A Cargo Van Glass Carrier (driver side exterior), a $1,710 value;
  • First runner up: Set of F. Barkow Stake-Loc™ stakes, a $250 value; and
  • Second runner up: Set of F. Barkow 10-foot load holding straps, a $120 value.

Attendees must be present on the tour to win. Prizes are not redeemable for cash; cash value of the grand prize may not be applied to an existing order. Winners must claim prizes by October 14, 2005.
