Golf Outing to be Offered at Glass Expo Midwest 2006
Glass Expo Midwest (GEMS) 2006 is offering a golf outing for attendees
the day before the seminars and trade show take place.
The golf outing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 9, 2006
at the Highland Woods Golf Course in Schaumburg, Ill. The event, a four-person
scramble, has no team restrictions and attendees are invited to "bring
your best team."
The event, co-chaired by Dennis Koziel and Pete Pontikis of MTH Industries,
will begin at 9 a.m. Registration includes golf cart rental, range balls
and lunch, and prizes will be awarded for first place team, longest drive
and closest to the pin.
The golf outing takes place the morning of the White Sox/Yankees baseball
game to which GEMS attendees are invited to purchase tickets for the patio
package, which includes dinner and drinks, two hours prior to the opening
pitch.
Glass Expo Midwest begins on Thursday, August 10 with seminars and workshops
starting at 8 a.m. at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention
Center in Schaumburg, Ill, a suburb of Chicago. The accompanying trade
show floor opens at 3 p.m. on the 10th and at 10 a.m. on Friday, August
11.
