Glass Technology Execs Visit Japanese Trade Show

Executives from Durango, Co.-based Glass Technology, Inc., a producer of glass restoration/repair products, recently attended the International Auto Aftermarket Trade Show in Tokyo.

The executives, president Kerry Wanstrath and general manager Rory Most, chose to attend the show to assist the Japanese vendor of Glass Technology, Lavenir, and to begin promotion of a yearlong Glass Technology initiative promoting the environmental benefits of glass restoration and repair.

"Millions of windshields and tons of flat glass [are] needlessly replaced and deposited in landfills," said Wanstrath. "If repair and restoration was seriously considered as a first option, we can save energy because it takes energy to produce new glass and very little energy to repair an existing windshield."
