Glass America Makes Second AGRSS Donation; Endorses National Standards for Auto Glass Replacement

Glass America, a national automobile glass replacement and repair company, has made its second donation to the Automotive Glass Replacement Safety Standards (AGRSS) Council, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the safe replacement of auto glass. Glass America's contributions will support a variety of AGRSS-oriented educational opportunities, including its new consumer awareness program.

"We believe this type of financial commitment sends a strong message to the entire Auto Glass Replacement industry that proper windshield installations is key to the safety of the consumer" stated David Rohlfing, president of Glass America. Glass America is also proud to support AGRSS with people resources that participate on the AGRSS Council.

The mission of AGRSS is to make every auto glass replacement safer by developing and maintaining standards for the replacement of auto glass, educating and accrediting the industry, and promoting awareness of the AGRSS Standard to the insurance industry and driving public at large. Glass America is committed to supporting the standards and objectives that the AGRSS Council's has put forth through both financial and instructional support.

It is imperative that retail organizations embrace this important benchmark for the Auto-Glass Replacement (AGR) industry" said Rohlfing. "We can think of no better show of support than to make our second donation to the AGRSS Council. Our industry must embrace these standards to ensure the safety of the driving public. It is our sincerest hope that other automotive glass retail companies will follow suit in supporting and implementing AGRSS."
