Changes Labor Pricing from Flat Fee
The Hartford, Conn.-based Hartford has announced that effective
October 10, 2007, it will change the way it prices labor for windshield
replacement. The company will now pay $40.50 per NAGS hour, as opposed
to its $110 flat fee.
Following is a chart that shows how this will affect pricing for
the top-10 most popular NAGS parts. (The chart also takes into effect
changes in NAGS prices since the May 2007 Calculator. Parts are
priced at 37 percent off NAGS, as noted in both The Hartford's January
and October faxes. It does not take into account prices for urethanes,
mouldings or kits.)
