IBS Software Launches GLAXIS-enabled ELMO Application

Kansas City, Mo.-based IBS Software has launched the latest version of its ELMO point-of-sale software for retail auto glass shops, enabled with GLAXIS technology to streamline the claims process by electronically connecting shops with claims managers such as LYNX Services.

Elmo32, IBS's most recent release of its Windows-compatible specialty software for retail auto glass operations, manages quotes, work orders, invoicing, parts searches and other point-of-sale functions. With added GLAXIS capabilities, IBS says shops can save time and money by directly initiating and managing insurance claims online via their ELMO desktop applications, from first notice of loss through payment.

"The ELMO software from IBS has always made sales operations and tracking easy, and now the GLAXIS interface makes insurance claims easier, too," said Larry Bachman, president of Bachman Auto Glass - a chain serving Arizona, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. "GLAXIS automatically fills in the insured and insurance information for new orders, and its online authorization saves us from waiting on hold for claims managers."

"With more than 50 years of experience in the auto glass business, we understand the hassle involved with processing insurance claims for both shops and vehicle owners," said Kyle Kryger, president, IBS Software. "This GLAXIS-enabled ELMO software helps our customers eliminate inconvenience, saving them time and money and helping them serve their customers better."
