Iowa IGA Chapter Holds AGRSS Training Class with PAG

In an effort to provide an opportunity for Independent Glass Association (IGA) members to have their installers properly trained according to the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard, the Iowa chapter of the IGA recently held a two-day auto glass training course conducted by Jeff Ritchie of Performance Achievement Group (PAG).

This marks the second year the chapter has held this course and 40 people have now attended.

"It has been very well received by everyone from the rookie installers to those with many years of experience," said Brian Gleason, owner of Visions Auto Glass and a member of the Iowa chapter. "Those with little experience are now able to properly perform safe installations, while the seasoned veterans are getting their credentials and also finding out there is a lot of valuable information to be gained by attending the class."

During the course, installations were performed on ten different vehicles, including a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, Chevy Van and Honda Accord.
