IGA Board of Directors Holds Strategic Planning Meeting

The Board of Directors of the Independent Glass Association (IGA) held a strategic planning meeting last week in Washington, DC. and developed an updated plan of action for the association.

"We had a great meeting," said IGA president Dave Zoldowski of Auto One. "In our time together, we were able to update our bylaws and mission statement, plan for an excellent convention to be held in May, implement a number of new services that will be announced at the convention and much more," he added.

"I am very, very excited about the future of IGA," he added, "and I think independent company owners will be too when they see some of the new services being inaugurated this year to help them compete on a level playing field." "We expect this to be a landmark convention," added vice president Bandi Hanke of Rockford Glass. "And every independent company that wants to remain in business should plan on attending. I think people will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of work that has been going on behind the scenes on both the convention and new member services."

The IGA Annual Convention and Spring Auto Glass Show will take place May 17-19 at the Golden Nugget/Cashman Center in Las Vegas.
