Intier Automotive Releases Fourth-Quarter Results

Intier Automotive of Newmarket, Ontario, has released the results of its fourth-quarter sales, as well as fiscal year sales, ending December 31, 2003. The fourth-quarter sales, totaling $1,422 million, reflected a 35-percent increase over the same time frame in 2002. Diluted earnings per share for the fourth-quarter 2003 was 37 cents compared to a diluted loss per share of 9 cents for the fourth quarter of 2002.

Full-year fiscal sales for 2003 increased 21 percent for a total of $4,655 million, and diluted earnings per share increased $1.18 for 2003 compared to 95 cents in 2002, according to the company.

Intier Automotive, the interiors company of Magna International, handles the development and manufacture of vehicle interior and vehicle closure components and systems including, but not limited to, glass moving systems and window regulators.
