Mainstreet Computers Inc., a Belleville, Mich.-based software developer for the glass industry, has introduced the VIN Decoder, a new option for its Glas-Avenue 7.0 package that integrates into the point of sale and allows users to verify a vehicle's make, model and year at one time.

According to the company, the upgrade also reduces EDI rejections.

"Customers have been asking for it and we've found a way to get it done," said Mark Haeck, sales manager for Mainstreet.
