Mainstreet Computers Inc. to Sponsor Refreshment Break at This Year's IGA Keynote Speech

Mainstreet Computers Inc., of Belleville, Mich. will sponsor the refreshment break during Ralph Nader's keynote speech at this year's Independent Glass Association Conference being held at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino's Cashman Center May 17-19.

"It's Mainstreet's 25th Anniversary," says Mark Haeck, sales manager for Mainstreet Computers. "It's timely for us, the conference comes right on the heels of 25 years in the industry… and is a good way to say thanks to all of our customers and vendors."

Noted automotive safety advocate Ralph Nader will be the keynote speaker at the IGA Independents' Days Conference. Nader is the author of the book Unsafe at Any Speed and has been a keynote for related industry events such as the AGRSS Conference. Nader has been actively involved in automotive safety issues for nearly 40 years; in addition to having helped shape motor vehicles safety laws, he also was instrumental in facilitating the recall of defective motor vehicles over the years. His original research organization, the Center for Study of Responsive Law, headquartered in Washington, D.C. has produced reports on subjects such as Interstate Commerce Commission, corporate welfare and government procurement, and other groups such as the Disability Rights Center and Congressional Accountability Project have taken their lead from him.
